It is appalling that Thailand allows caged animals to be maintained on top of a department store in what is clearly still a death-trap. Bangkok’s Pata Zoo came under fire yesterday for operating a zoo inside a shopping mall despite the National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Depart-ment’s assertion that the caged animals were being treated well.
