Certain persons annoyed about my photos in my album concerning the Bangkok street-elephants and Pata “zoo”

Since my first publications in November concerning the roaming elephants and, later, about Pata “zoo” I had, besides lots of visits, no complaints and/or problems at all.

The day after my open letter to the TAT (Thai Tourist Organization) and the publishing in (for the time being because lack of time) five groups (three in Care2 and 1 in AAPN) I found in my blog under ”Search engine terms” the feed-back: “where to report disturbing photos on fli(ckr)” (the site in which my photos has been published). As I haven’t discussed other photos than the city-elephants in Bangkok and Pata “zoo” It seems that, although I didn’t reach my goal already of course, the complaints ARE coming under the eyes of those who are involved!

I know that my photo’s are disturbing but no well thinking soul should complain about them, on the contrary: they should complain about what they have to complain: the abuse. My photos are not (yet) showing blood and dying creatures fortunately, as all around the Net one has been confronted with very tragic images of blood shad caused by “humans”.

I leave the conclusion to you, and, whenever they reach their “goal” to get my graphic complaints off my public album: there are lots and lots of providers with albums more.
Might be somebody can give me hints about these already!

  1. thank you for this effort..i worked for ringling circus and the abuse is so shocking..

please see the video on utube..

‘elephant training’ sadly true..it will make you cry, but they have to live it everyday 24/7

i am working to end all live animal shows everywhere..they are not here for our amusement, while they suffer..and our children should be taught to respect animals and learn the lessons of love they teach us..

i have seen an elephant cry..

    thank you for your work…marion.

    sincerely…marion

  3. Please contact me as soon as possible. I am looking to start up a group here in Australia to spread awareness about the Zoo. I would like to create a petition, flyers, posters etc.
Look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience,
    Jamie
